Process of a presentation at the class

How my group organized the presentation on the writing a summary

            My group made a presentation on the writing a summary at class last week. It is a good topic for student improving their skills. Also, it is a good challenge for my group who prepared a group of presentation about this topic. It is first hard for us how to make a good presentation for this topic. So we made some processes to preparing the topic, which included the select topic, made an outline, make a presentation.
            Frist, one of process is choose a good topic it is important. My group was confused when select different topics from the Website, because a topic has many information which cannot put all of them on the class. A decision we made it we compared ours ideas, which was most similar about writing. After it, we pick it as ours presentation. However, my group has two people, who was made different steps one was research any information about the topics, another had to find useful information put it on the topic. My task was that I found the information from a blog about why writing a summery is important, and what are basic steps for writing a good summary. Even I used some comments when I read some message at Website and some examples to support ours topic.
            Second, made an outline it could be good way to structure your research information. An outline has an introduction that included a topic sentence, thesis statement, and the controlling ideas.  Next it is your body paragraph, it should connect your main topic. In addition, use some examples to consolidate your ideas. Last one is conclusion it connects your topic and main points with your ideas. Furthermore, some of ideas could be suggested at class, it could be easy to interaction with students.
            Make a presentation is hard for us, because we have to two people, we have to make order at this topic. We used a PPT at the class, it included most of important contents for ours presentation. One of my group, he made introduction, it was that why is writing summaries important. Then, I was focus on the main points how to step to step write a summary. One is skim the text you are going to summarize and divide it into sections and focus on headings and subheadings. Then, you read the selection and read straight though, trying to find main points. Next, write a thesis statement when you read all of text and review the main ideas and points. Even though you could write first draft used some transition words (then, however, also) that help with the overall structure. Last check your grammar, punctuation. If possibly ask someone to check your summary.
            Finally, my group made a good presentation on the writing a perfect summary. It is useful when you write a summary, just flow these step it could be simple to write a good summary. Some attrition we made on the presentation such as transition words, grammar, and basic outline we narrated. Those could be ways and helping your writing.
